DHI´s water related solution courses cover the areas of water resources, coast & sea, cities, industry, flooding and environment. Our courses include, for example, topics such as climate change adaptation, integrated water resources management, water quality and environmental management, water safety plans, urban master planning, flood management, shoreline management, offshore renewables and physical modelling.
Categories of Solution courses:
- Solution Software by DHI
These courses combine highly specialised IT technologies with efficient data processing and modelling. The courses teach you the tools used for building decision support systems and enable you to maximize your benefits from using the tools. These courses include hands-on computer exercises extensively. - Thematic courses
These courses allow you to combine tools, systems and software packages (typically Solution Software by DHI and/or MIKE by DHI Software) with concepts, applications, and decision support principles and approaches. These courses provide complete business process solutions. Part of the thematic courses are “tool free” and provides you with up-to-date knowledge of a range of current topics. These courses will, however, always enable you to understand the strengths and limitations of models and other technology within the relevant areas of each course.
Standard courses
Our standard courses are modular and allow you to build your expertise so as to match the requirements of your job. Likewise, they assist managers in building and updating their teams’ skills and productivity in a quick and cost-effective way.
Tailored courses
Our tailored courses are designed according to your specific needs. They are typically based upon project data and range from short courses in selected topics to longer, specialised training packages and training-on-the job schemes.
Want to join a public enrolment course?
Every year we schedule a large number of public enrolment solution courses. These courses give you the added value of sharing experiences and know-how with fellow water professionals.
In 2012 our public enrolment solution courses will take place at a selected number of DHI Offices. The public courses normally require a minimum number of participants to proceed.
Time and place
Most of our public enrolment courses can be arranged in all regions upon request. We also arrange courses to take place in your office - either for your team or as a one-to-one course.
