IUCLID stands for International Uniform Chemical Information Database. IUCLID is the format which must be used to document data for chemicals when registering in the EU. Chemical substances must be registered if they are imported or produced in amounts exceeding 1 tonne or more whether they are pure chemicals or they are part of a chemical product or article.
Companies which manufacture or import chemical substances, for instance substances on the EINECS list, must pre-register these substances between 1 June and 1 December 2008. When you pre-register you can make use of the easy terms for the subsequent registration.
At this course we will focus on
- Pre-registration
- IUCLID 5
- Registration including data requirements
- Data requirements for risk assessment and EUSES
The course will include a case on IUCLID 5.
If you have specific problems you want us to examine at the course, please contact the course manager not later than two weeks prior to the course.
The course is based on our experience in IUCLID 5 in connection with assignments for European chemical manufacturers.
